At Howe, we play hard. But we also work hard, and campers benefit from Howe’s tradition of academic excellence. The emphasis of camp life for boys age 9-14 is on recreational activities. However, these boys also receive review instruction in mathematics and English — which includes reading, comprehension, and grammar — subjects that are the foundation for all other learning.
