Camp Louise has been in the business of making a difference in Jewish girls’ lives for over 86 summers. We are conveniently located in the spectacular Catoctin mountains, about 1 hour from the Baltimore and Washington metro areas. Our experienced staff of college age counselors and adult educators (some are from Israel!) offer a wide variety of activities including Swim, Athletics & Fitness, Drama, Dance, Outdoor Adventure (camping and pioneering, high ropes, climbing, caving, hiking), Adventure Trips (rafting, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, etc.), Crafts, and Ceramics, Video Production, Photography, Cookery and much more.
Louise campers participate in beautiful Friday night Shabbat services (with music, choir) in the Dining Hall prior to a traditional Shabbat dinner (with matzoh ball soup and all the fixin's!); Saturday morning services are held at our beautiful open-air solarium (partly in Hebrew, partly in English to make it accessible for everyone).
Registration is now open for a variety of two and four week sessions, a specially designed Mini Camp for 7 and 8 year olds, and our one week Rookie Camp for new 7, 8 and 9 year olds.
