Welcome to Jr. Discovery, unique 3 week summer enrichment experiences for teenagers completing grades 6, 7 and 8. At Jr. Discovery, learning is everywhere - in the classroom, dorm room, dining hall, on-stage, the tennis court or ball field, on trips and excursions, and the daily interaction between peers, dynamic teachers and Resident Counselors.

Since 1966, the Musiker Family has been directing outstanding educational experiences for teenagers. As parents ourselves, we realize middle school students are at an important crossroads in their development. Life poses many new challenges, opportunities, emotions, and rewards. Jr. Discovery is designed to facilitate a positive transition from adolescence to young adulthood, and from middle school to high school. Our innovative Skills for Mind and Body curriculum inspires independent thinking, creativity, personal growth, self-confidence, time management and life skills.

Additionally, through cooperative living and positive mentoring by a superb group of Resident Counselors, our students experience the finest, caring supervision, group dynamics, and mutual respect.

Best of all, Jr. Discovery is a summer of new friendships with students from all over the USA and the world. In the Jr. Discovery community, everyone is welcome and everyone belongs. We look forward to welcoming you to our community this summer.
